Winter experiences
During the winter months, Laax is a hub for skiing and snowboarding. The ski resort offers a wide range of slopes catering to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders. There are also terrain parks and halfpipes for freestyle enthusiasts which host the European Snowboarding Championships in January. The Ski lifts in Murschetg are a ten minute walk
from The Black Summit Holiday apartments or alternatively three minute by courtesy bus.

Summer experiences
In the summer, Laax transforms into a haven for hikers, mountain bikers, and nature lovers. The extensive network of hiking trails allows visitors to explore the alpine landscapes, and there are excellent trails for mountain bikers. River rafting in the Rhine gorge and Tandem paragliding are also highlights not to be missed.
Laax and Flims
Laax offers a relaxed and charming alpine lifestyle. The town itself has a mix of traditional Swiss architecture, with wooden chalets and cozy cafes combined with modern architecture.
There is a small lake in the village centre with a few nearby shops including a Volg.
Flims, located ten minutes away by car / bus or thirty minutes by bike has more in the way of restaurants and shops as well as the Stenna Centre that houses a Coop supermarket, bar and Cinema.
The Tourist Information office is also in Flims.
